Mmmmm! There used to be an amazing... well, "bar," is probably the closest. This place in Seattle was called, "Hopscotch," and it had hundreds of varieties of single malts. Including some that were insanely expensive, such as a ceramic bottle in the shape of a water flask that cost something along the lines of $20,000 and was $2000 just to crack open, with drams about that cost. A manager from my Redmond employer took the team there once. Just wow. It closed shortly thereafter.

I just bought myself the highest-dollar bottle of single-malt I've ever purchased (I limit myself to $60/bottle, as above that value only increases incrementally), a 15-year Laphroaig. And it is AMAZING.
