Friday "Can't Hardly Wait" Random 10+
Things have been busy at work the past couple of weeks, mainly with stuff for the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art here in KC. We do the large wall graphics and informational signs for special exhibits there. Last week saw the opening of a special display of "The Original Rules of Basket Ball," which wiill be running through May 29. It's free, but requires timed tickets.
This week has seen the output of materials for an upcoming exhibit of the three pieces of Monet's "Water Lilies" triptych, together again for the first time in years and years. This exhibit focuses on the 11-year long process of the creation of these pieces, using a variety of forensic methods to reveal the details hidden under the layers of paint. This exhibit will run from April 9 through August 27, and will cost $8. And both will be running during ConQuesT! Let's celebrate with some tunes.
1) New York City, Cub

Busy weekend, what with the Big 12 Tournament going on. And more importantly, tomorrow the replacement for this ancient computer will arrive. It's done its job well overall, but the time has come to upgrade. I'll be going from this G4 dual 450 MHz machine to an 8-core twin 2.8 GHz speed demon. I am considering installing a seat belt on my chair.
