Busy week. Sunday hit Trader Joe's prior to the post-church rush. So happy they are finally here.

Monday went to Lawrence and participated in presentations on polyamory to two classes (one a psychology course, the other on human sexuality). Quite interesting, and the students in the latter class asked some good questions.

Tuesday brought the Red Elvises to town. If you haven't seen them, you need to. Trust me. Highlight of the evening came during "Strip Joint Is Closed," when Oleg, the bass balalaika player, went over and started "helping" Igor play the accordion. By the end of the schtick, the instrument was in two pieces, and Oleg spent most of the break trying to glue it back together.

And we even have work at work! So, on to the tunes:

1) This Summer's Been Good from the Start, Gorky's Zygotic Mynci

2) Dizzy, Siouxsie & The Banshees

3) Right Start (Unfinished Outtake), Talking Heads

4) Fun Time / Radio Free Europe, R.E.M. (11/19/92 Greenpeace Benefit 40 Watt Club Athens, Georgia)

5) Cheating On You, Franz Ferdinand

6) Keechie, No Age

7) Trailways Of Tears, Austin Lounge Lizards

8) I Don't Know, Johnny Adams; Ruth Brown

9) Mighty Mighty, Baby Huey

10) I Know Every Street, Meeting of Important People

extra time

11) Do-Re-Mi, Steve Earle

12) Where Is Yesterday, The United States Of America

13) State Trooper [Live], Bruce Springsteen (Acoustic Tales (Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles, 1990-11-16 (Disc 2))

Not sure what's going on this weekend, besides the continuing slow roasting of most of the country. Stay hydrated, people!
