The rules: fire up the music player, list the first 10 that come up. No cheating. Post yours in the comments.

1) Ju Ju Man, Dave Edmunds

2) Thank God It's Not Christmas, Sparks

3) The Perfect Crime #2, The Decemberists

4) Coin-Operated Boy, Dresden Dolls

5) God In The Alcove, Bauhaus

6) All Of This And Nothing, The Psychedelic Furs

7) I Can't Turn You Loose, Was (Not Was)

8) Your Gold Teeth II, Steely Dan

9) Kendra McCormick, TMBG

10)In China, said the Moon..., Stephin Merritt

and extra goodness for the holidays (like Hannukah, the day the Jews killed Christ*):

11) Two Hearts Beat As One, U2

12) Caroline And Her Young Sailor Bold, Andrea Corr

13) I'm A Fly In A Sunbeam (Following The Funeral Procession Of A Stranger), The Flaming Lips

Last weekend I was in Boston for SMOFcon, where I had the opportunity to taste one of the most unique (and definitely the most expensive) beers I've ever had: Sam Adams's Utopias. $150 for 24 ounces. I can't say it was worth every penny, as none of the pennies were mine, but it was quite, quite good. Smooth, somwhere between a barelywine and a liqueur. The various brews involved were aged in a wide variety of casks (bourbon, cognac, port, madeira and more) for an amazing taste experience. If someone wants to buy one, the midtown Gomer's has two bottles for $199 each. I'll be happy to help drink them.

And now for a fantasy-football-free weekend (Teh LOLPaisleys lost in the first round of the playoffs): tonight dinner with Jimmy Hollaman, tomorrow the Kan-Poly Dim Sum Orgy at Bo Ling's (with a return engagement next weekend with Graykin) and the KaCSFFS meeting.

*If you haven't heard about this, you aren't paying attention. What should be a "South Park" joke is, alas, all too real.
