My dad and I used to watch the late Reverend Dr. Scott in the wee hours. He was one of a kind, LOL hilarious. And he knew it. He went out of his way to be silly and entertaining and was a blatant non-apologetic suckup for money. We never sent a dime.

Good times. Believe it or not, besides just building his personal fortune and his church, Dr. Scott also donated millions to public non-religious charities, such as the LA Public Library. Not your typical big-money evangelist. He spread it around far and wide.

And geez, he really was funny.
