drpaisleyJust got back from the stadium, where we (Pulsifer, Liz and Joe [a recovering Yankees fan]) froze our asses off, got rained on most of the evening, and watched Zach Greinke throw 8 innings of 4 hit shutout ball.
In the bottom of the fifth, the wind suddenly chsnged direction just long enough for John Buck to crush a homer into the water spectacular on the fly. As soon as the inning was over, many of the fans left, and the rest of us kept yelling for the ump to call the game. But noooooo, it went the full nine innings.
The new video board in center field is inbleepingcredible. The quality of the pics and graphics is amazing, like 8000 square feet of hi-def monitor. I want one.
Now a hot toddy and bed. But the Royals have taken the series from the Yankees, and are still first in the AL Central. Life is good, even if most of my extremities are somewhat frozen.
