drpaisleySaturday is the Fantasy Football Draft, and helping Ann Totusek get her mother's stuff packed into the truck for the move to Iowa. So, with a full day's activity planned, I find out about this:
Please note, the draft is where I will take possession of the Mike Smalley Trophy, emblematic of my victory in the Scum Bowl last season. And my team name? Baconcats, of course! Still haven't decided if I am going to keep that name, or choose a new one, as has been my wont over the years. Perhaps this is a sign.
If you love bacon this event is for you! Join us as we celebrate bacon with its very own festival and help one of Kansas City's unique non-profit organizations - The Rehabilitation Institute. Event proceeds will fund medical rehabilitation services for newly disabled children and adults. Your involvement will help individuals who have exoerienced a spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke or other type of neurological condition get back on the road of life. Tickets are $30 per person
