I Keep Forgetting to Mention This I

The other night I wandered into Rohanna's office and she was watching the end of "Titanic" as background noise. As I sat down, the film panned to the various major characters in their lifeboats, and when they got to Kathy Bates, I didn't wonder where James Caan was, but I did fail to identify her mentally as Molly Brown, but rather as Molly Bloom.

Which has had me cogitating on James Joyce's "Titanic" ever since.
