Thank goodness it's "not intended for homes with children" but, all other considerations aside, wouldn't that be a terribly uncomfortable place to keep a firearm when you get in and out of bed? Even in Texas, I'm about a thousand times more likely to cut myself on that metal hook in the dark at 3am and bleed out than ever need a concealed shotgun at my bedside.
