Along with everything else going on, Rohanna developed an ear infection this week. She came home early Monday, and went to bed with a heating pad, which was not as helpful as I was hoping it would be. So I thought, I'll go to the drug store and see if they have any otc ear drops that might help.

And off I went to Walgreen's, where I was appalled to find that the only things they had were homeopathic "medicines" of no utility or medicinal virtue at all. Even worse, in addition to the name brand woo-woo, Walgreen's had its own brand of the crap, which at least was cheaper, though no less devoid of value. I went to the CVS down the block, same thing. What the fucking fuck? This sort of crap should not be in a building with a real pharmacy where they hand out actual medicine, it should be kept in new age bookstores and other emporia of such bilge.
