I really did do this yesterday morning, but had to rush to work. Which has been way too full of work lately, with more and more coming in, when I really need things to slow down as we head toward ConQuesT. And it's gotten hot enough here that I had to turn on the a/c today, three weeks after the last snow. And now, the rumors behind the tunes.

1) Taxman, The Beatles

2) Hoppípolla (Live @ MoMA), Sigur Rós

3) Naturally, Jessie Hill

4) Bocs Angelica, Gorky's Zygotic Mynci

5) Sixty Minute Man, The Dominoes

6) Bass, Robyn Hitchcock & The Egyptians (Seattle WA - Seattle Center Coliseum)

7) Everybody Hurts, The Corrs

8) Home at Last, DONALD FAGEN, OLLABELLE & PHOEBE SNOW

9) Boys Will Be Boys, Goldfrapp

10) Lullaby, Leonard Cohen

plus

11) Mumtaz Khan, Ratatat

12) The Law Of Maximum Distress Pt 2 (Bonus Track), King Crimson

13) Thee Politics Ov Ecstasy, Psychic TV & Jack The Tab

Sitting at 46636 items in iTunes. Always fun when something turns up in rotation that I have no idea where it came from. Spent today cleaning house in prep for the Invasion of Sermelt, which commences Monday. Way behind on everything, of course. Doubtful I will be posting one of these next week, as I will start the day at the hotel, then go to work. Now I'm waiting for NPulsifer, who promised me Hayseed Dixie and the Red Elvises tonight. Onward!

from yr tweets sounds like you had a good time tonight, as you should on a Saturday.

Your number of tunes in yr library makes me want to go upstairs and burn out my optical drive catching up. I've only got about 350G of music in my library, and a fair amount of those songs are Dead or Bruce live, so longer than the standard pop tune on average. Jus wait until I get a turntable hooked up and can start dubbing my old family Lps and 78s of all sorts of old and odd stuff, as well as the occasional vinyl rarity that has never been transferred to digital like Hunter's Jack O' Roses album his solo acoustic version of the Terrapin Station suite.

I start packing up the car for the great trek to ConQuest tomorrow. Will have a few bottles you and Tully should enjoy sharing.

Give our Lord Jo an extra hug from me on Monday night.

I'm bringing some shareables myself. One of them is old enough to legally drink on its own .... ;)
