Random 10+ for Oktoberfest Friday

Due to a combination of ennui and, well, ennui, I never got around to writing about last weekend's whirlwind of activity, which included Rohanna and I going to Lawrence for the monthly KanPoly meetup (with stops at verminusrex's bagel stand and Dragonet's sister's store Brits). At he meetup, I received my wonderful socks made by tensigrity (which fit great, by the way. thanks again!). Rohanna and I rushed back home in time for the ConQuesT meeting, followed by the KaCSFFS meeting, after which we went to see the lovely and multi-talentedaerie13 perform at the Westport Coffee Shop. Good times all around.

That would be Brave Combo, Grammy-award winning polka/salsa/conjunto/cha-cha party band. The keyboard was hitting it pretty hard Friday night

DUH! Got bands from Austria, Germany, Hungary, and Canada. No Grammy American Bands, drat! Ok, where can I get a copy/sample of their music?????
