Once I had a bruise like that from my hip to my knee -- the tail of the plane bounced so hard it threw me rather violently against a seat. Fun fun fun! You too can be purple-black!

Well, to the extent that Rohanna is a former SCA chirugeon (and familiar with large bruises). It doesn't hurt, just a little cranky when I sit for too long or use the stairs. Besides, the whole "no insurance" thing mitigates against doctors at this point. But thanks for the concern.

Oh, yes. I forgot Rohanna was and I did see her in action at CONQUEST several years ago. Yes, the whole insurance thing can be a...pardon the pun, pain in the neck.
