A good evening with good friends. KU kicked ass. Much good food and beer. A phone conversation with a loved one put off for far too long.

Tomorrow is free, with a possible barbecue date happening.

May everyone have a better year than the lat one. Not that it would take much to do that for most of us.

BUUUUURP! Good evening here too.

Now, on to the Hoppin' John with rice and turnip greens* and cornbread. A centuries-old tradition not to be sneered at, especially as it's just the right blend of carbs, protein, vitamins, and roughage for food/drink overindulgence recovery. :-)
