Steinbrenner Delenda Est!

Cleveland 6, Yankees 4. Once again, the Yanks couldn't get a decent performance from their Wang (apparently if he lasts more than four innings they have to see their doctor). Ex-Royal Paul Byrd pitched well enough, and the Cleveland bullpen got the job done, albeit with a few interesting moments.
And now, let the knives come out. Torre, if he is smart, will force Steinbrenner to fire him rather than resign. A-Rod will opt out, Clemens will go back to Texas with his $22M for less than half a season, and the lucky ones will head for free agency. And if the world is lucky, they'll wind up with Fregosi or Norv Turner or some other hack managing, and it will be back to the late '60s-early '70s suckitude.
Now, on to the League Championships. And the the World Series. And another year living in a millennium where the Yankees have won as many World Series as the Cubs.
And if Buffalo could have just stopped Dallas at the end, it would have been a perfect finish to the evening.
